Basics of Biblical Preaching

Participants will learn to:

  • Prepare biblical, expositional sermons

  • Interpret Scripture in its context

  • Communicate truth clearly and powerfully to modern listeners

  • Explores the structure of a sermon, the role of exegesis, the use of illustrations, and the spiritual formation of the preacher.

Basics of Biblical Hebrew

Upon completing the course, students will:

  • Read and write the Hebrew alphabet and words

  • Understand core Hebrew grammatical features (roots, nouns, verbs)

  •  Students will grow in their appreciation of the Old Testament’s richness and gain skills that enhance preaching and study.
